Automatist Digital Sculpture: Exercise 7

Tribal Life
A visual essay on primitive culture,
Totems and bare-ass living on the open plains

Clearly, the image in Step 1 has little to do with Hunter Gatherer's,
or the evolutionary redirection by early man toward agriculture and the farming of animals

It does however represent the beginnings of color and form,
as it pertains to Abstract Automatism and the subconscious development of imagery and theme

Step 1
For the purpose of the exercise, an existing image was modified

Step 2 - Colorize using pastels
In this manner, you are not committed to permanent color intensity

Step 3 - Mirroring the image

Step 4 - Enhance

Step 5
Image redefined (sculpted), to include the symbolism of a Totem

Step 6
The addition of human-like figures and flora

Step 7
Creating the Hominoid with a vision... and general enhancements

Step 8
Concept review and touchups

Step 9
The final image… Tribal Life

Graffiti and the Visual Blurb

Lokale Einwohner (SpectraZone 415)

Local Inhabitants (Lokale Einwohner)… was originally described by the artist as a rough portrait, a Visual Blurb in watercolor
"It is more graffiti-like in nature and appears better suited in an urban landscape, rather than on a canvas"

Emergence
Subtitle: Sleepless and Dead (Séraphine and Joshua)

An image depicting the tragedy of passing in ones sleep...
To wake in a Netherworld dung heap, eternally frustrated by the lack of good company and quality entertainment

As with any theater troupe...
these newest additions to the gallery reflect a juxtaposition of familiar themes, a reconstitution of cast and staging

Reverie: The Guise of Social Malaise

However you may see it (Independence Day or the 4th of July), the concept of personal Freedom is Universal and Revolutionary

America's Declaration of Independence and its Bill of Rights were at one time, a social experiment. A treatise in Civil Liberties, and  it caught the attention of the entire Western World

Clearly, there are those who would oppose these measures by  any means. They’re purpose... to frustrate the natural evolution  of Man and (according to Sartre), Man's state of Being

Being:
The Existential point of view, was generally focused  on the condition of human existence according to philosophers of the 19th century

It encompassed both Man’s beliefs and religious views . . .

Included in that study were the states of action, thought, responsibility, and how we (the People) viewed the meaning and/or purpose of our Lives

At the heart the argument is the proposal, that an Individual
is solely responsible for the quality of Life’s Meaning and its condition… unconditionally!

The photo… a curious collection of juxtaposed figures
